Who We Are
At the Northeast Council of Teachers of Japanese (NECTJ) in New York, New York, we are a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the teaching of the Japanese language at the pre-collegiate level and in kindergarten through grade 16. Established in 1992, we are made up of a group of teachers who teach Japanese, and we help teachers help each other.
Our Japanese language and Japanese language education workshops will help you to learn more about the art of the Japanese language. Alongside our workshops that are perfect for Japanese teachers and students alike, we also offer student programs and exchange programs, and we are looking for monetary donations, which will go towards helping students with scholarships.
